SCRA Community Psychology Biennial Conference - Atlanta Georgia USA

Chenai flew all the way to Atlanta for The Society of Community Research and Action (SCRA) - Community Psychology, Division 27 of the American Psychological Association  held its Biennial Conference at Morehouse College in June 2023. This focus was on Community psychology, which goes beyond an individual focus and integrates social, cultural, economic, political, environmental, and international influences to promote positive change, health, and empowerment at individual and systemic levels.

SCRA Biennial Conferences draw together SCRA and other community members from around the world to engage in stimulating conversations about recent developments in community research and action. These conferences provide attendees with a special opportunity to exchange ideas and resources, forge new collaborations, re-connect with old friends, and deepen one's knowledge and skills in topics of particular interest. I gave a poster presentation session which went amazingly!
